Advisory Principal to Chartworth.
David is a seasoned investment banker providing services to commercial banks and thrifts and other financial services companies. Prior to joining Chartworth, David worked as a Senior Executive Vice President of Griffin Financial Group of Reading, Pennsylvania. In 1992 he co-founded McConnell, Budd & Romano, Inc. (MBR), Morristown, New Jersey, and served as a Managing Director. MB&R was a well-established middle market investment banking firm serving the financial services industry. David completed 45 successful transactions for shareholder owned financial institutions and participated in 15 capital markets transactions. Prior to founding MB&R, he served as Co-Director of the Merger and Acquisition Group at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. (KBW). During his tenure at KBW he completed more than 40 bank mergers and numerous capital markets transactions for financial institutions.
Davidís focus is on advising financial institutions, both buyers and sellers, on how to successfully accomplish transactions. His experience includes a variety of skills ranging from financial modeling, structuring the forms of consideration, establishing the correct amount of consideration to achieve specified financial goals while simultaneously ensuring capital adequacy, to managing the sometimes delicate negotiations involving human resource and company culture issues.
Davidís focus at Chartworth includes mergers and acquisitions, both within and outside the financial services industry as well as capital market consulting activities. Davidís practice is nationally focused. He resides in Morristown, NJ. He received a B.A. from Hobart College, an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and studied at the Queenís University of Belfast, Northern Ireland. He also served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps.
