Chartworth Strategy Consultants & Investment Bankers Announce New Principal, New Office in Manchester NH, and Broker-Dealer Designation

Manchester, New Hampshire – March 12, 2005 – Chartworth LLC, a team of seasoned strategy consultants and investment bankers providing corporate finance advisory, business development, strategic planning, and management consulting services to entrepreneurial companies, announced that Susan Woods has joined as Principal in their new Manchester office where she will be responsible for identifying and servicing clients.

“Susan’s background as both an operating executive and investment professional is what all of the Chartworth principals bring to our clients,” said Vlad Harris, Principal. “We leverage that experience to work closely with our clients to develop the best strategy for maximizing the value of their organizations.”

Susan has over 20 years of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital experience. Her industry experience was acquired in companies spanning insurance, reinsurance, healthcare, direct marketing, and technology. Susan is at her best working on cross-functional strategic activities that involve coordinating and leveraging internal and external resources. She particularly enjoys working in companies undergoing significant change.

Susan and Paul Beaulieu, Chartworth Co-Founder and Principal, are based out of the company’s new office in Manchester. The location of this new office will allow for an increased expansion into Central New Hampshire. Interest from entrepreneurial companies in this region of the state and a shortage of professional firms specializing in Chartworth’s areas of expertise has created an excellent opportunity for the opening of this second location.

Recently, Chartworth formed a new business entity, Chartworth Capital LLC, to provide investment banking services including private placements, and merger and acquisition assistance. As a registered broker-dealer, Chartworth Capital executes securities transactions that require broker dealer registration.
